Hi! I’m Gillian (I also go by Gill). I grew up in MA and moved to Lakewood, OH when I met my husband Ryan. I have been in animal care for 15+ years and I am thrilled to have started my petcare business again in 2021.

While going to school at BGSU I realized I wanted to pursue my love for animals and I’ve found myself working as a sitter, veterinary assistant, a rescue volunteer, a dog walker, an obedience trainer, and a doggy daycare attendant and receptionist. When I’m not snuggling a dog or cat or going for walks, I like to play video games, board games, bake cookies, and watch movies. I’m a chatterbox so if you like crazy stories from the animal world, I’m who to talk to!

walk visit
A fun, 40 minute visit with treats, belly rubs, fresh air and sunshine! This includes a walk around your neighborhood, treats, and fresh water! Bad weather? Potty time, play time and lots of snuggles will keep your pets happy.

Great for both cats and dogs. Pups will enjoy a brisk 20 minute walk to get them up and moving while you are at work! Bad weather? Potty break, and extra love and attention. Or, cats can rest easy enjoying playtime, treats and attention while you are away.

Let your pups fulfill their quest for adventure! I’ll pick up your furry friends and bring them to the park, marina, metroparks, or edgewater beach!

overnight house & petsit
Your pets feel best in the comfort of your own home. I aim to provide peace of mind and care for your home and pets! This service includes an overnight stay (10+ hrs) in your home with all of your pets based on their individual needs so you, and they, can rest easy. Also Includes breakfast and dinner plus potty breaks or litter box cleaning. To truly pamper your pets while you are away add a walk visit, or an hour or two of day sitting at a discount!

day sit
For pups that want company during a busy workday or other event! This visit includes up to 6 hours of personal hangout time including potty walks, playtime, treats, fresh water, feedings, and of course, snuggles! Enjoy an evening out of the house while I offer you peace of mind and minimal change for your pet’s day to day routine.

pet taxi
I can drive your pet safely to and from the vet, groomer, daycare, etc. Who doesn’t love a car ride?

small animal+plant visit
Plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small mammals need care too! This quick visit includes feeding, bedding changes, and snuggles when possible!

Why choose in-home pet sitting?

In home pet sitting offers peace of mind that both your animals and your home are in good hands. Bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, and all the other little things are a part of in-home pet and house sitting. While boarding is a wonderful option for many, it’s not always a good fit for every pet. There’s nothing like sleeping in your own bed, so being able to stay at home lets your pets feel safe and secure without any added stress from you being away. You also get a personal level of care for your pet that you can’t get in a facility. I aim to keep your pets routines as close to normal as possible while making sure they have fun and are as spoiled as ever! Photos and updates are sent daily, and you can rest easy knowing your home and your pets are being well looked after.

What animals will you work with?

Dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. Other animals that aren’t listed can be discussed, and we can determine based on their care and needs as to whether or not I am a good fit for your animal friends!

Which areas do you serve?

I am available in Lakewood, Westpark, Rocky River, and Ohio City.

Will you meet my pets?

Yes! I always want to meet you and your animals ahead of time, and I offer a free 30 minute consultation. During a consultation we will go over your animals’ care routine, plus any additional info I may need. We go over paperwork and, of course, I make sure your animals are happy and comfortable with me!

How much notice is required to schedule?

I encourage booking at least 48 hours ahead of time. We all know that things happen, so depending on my schedule, emergency or same day appointments may be possible. If I cannot fit you in, I will help you find someone who can! Last minute appointments may have an extra charge. A cancellation fee may be charged if the cancellation is not given 48 hours ahead.
